About the event
Prakriti Nanda a.k.a Prakti is a queer musician based in Delhi who loves writing highly sensitive and emotionally charged music. Her sincere, honest & intimate songwriting is based around the guitar and has expressive lyrical vocals which encourage listeners to confront their feelings. Her style is eclectic and is a perfect amalgamation of pop, rhythm & blues and Jazz.
As a performer, Prakti has a charming presence on stage and she loves to engage her audience through the stories behind her songs. Prakti released her debut EP ‘Why Don’t You Speak’ in 2019, followed by two single releases ‘Words’ in
2020 and her first Hindi single ‘Saavan’ in 2021. Her latest EP ‘Feel Butter’ (2023) is a collection of her brightest and boldest work so far and hints at an exciting turn in her style of writing. Her songwriting has been applauded by platforms such as A Humming Heart, Maed…
