About the event
Akshar Gajjar is an architect and textile artist, currently a PhD student at EPFL Lausanne. Alongside Stephanie Cadoret, he runs a textile-based community space in Lausanne.
He has facilitated embroidery workshops in academic settings in Zurich and Lausanne and in gallery and community settings in Geneva and Venice. His workshops are an invitation to use embroidery to reflect on personal experiences and surroundings and document silenced, hidden or forgotten stories.
